  1. Simple instructions in English, requests and questions, and use formulaic expressions appropriately
  2. Recognize whole words or chunks of language
  3. Read and understand simple words/short sentences
  4. Brief conversations seeking or giving information
  5. Nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs and prepositions
  6. Sentence structure (Simple sentences)
  7. Verbs such as Is, am, are, has, have
  8. Tense forms (simple present, present continuous and present perfect, simple past,  past continuous and past perfect)
  9. Developing independent living skills
  10. Filling forms orally
  11. Giving Medical Details
  12. Responding to Accidents and Emergencies
